Everyone came together to enjoy an evening of Hallowe’en Bingo on Friday, 21st October 2016. There were lots of spooky creatures about and much fun was had by all!
Here are some of the spooks and ghouls that visited the school on that night! They look very gloomy but that is because they are in character! The pumpkin was kindly loaned to use by Dosbarth Llyn y Fan. The ghost and one of the werewolves (yes, you were not seeing double there were two of them) won the best dressed prizes.
In the club after school today we were thinking about the Autumn leaves and how pretty everything looked. We had been given the bread wheatsheaf from the Harvest Service last term, as it was not possible to eat it as it was stale, we thought about helping our wildlife with it. Together the children came up with three options of where to put it and then we voted. The vote was in favour of putting it on the field near the nature area. We are going to do a survey of it every week and to photograph it to see what is happening to it. The children estimate it will take about 6 weeks to completely go!

On the evening of Wednesday, 16 March 2016 the Friends held a Nearly New Fashion Show to raise money for new ipads for the school to use within classes. The children were all invited to put their names forward to be models for the clothes and to do the compere’s job. There were not enough boys clothes so we only needed girls. Lots of girls volunteered and we pulled names out of a hat to find out who was chosen. The two comperes were very professional and shared details of the outfits with the audience.
It was a really good evening and we raised £190.99.
Huge thank you to those who provided outfits, helped with the dressing, modelled the clothes, did the presenting and who came on the night to watch!
