Welcome to Dosbarth Pen y Fan’s page. Mrs Protheroe & Mrs Evans are the teachers in class. Mrs Evans teaches on a Monday. Mrs Protheroe teaches the class on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The ALSC provides specialised intervention for identified learners across the school. Learners are provided with a highly differentiated, personalised curriculum.
This term,ourtopic is “Food Glorious Food”. So far this term we have enjoyed activities based around the story “Stone Soup”. We aim to learn about eating healthily through the use of a range of story books from around the world.
We have introduced a new phonics scheme called Monster Phonics which the children have responded really well to. The children have been working hard to learn their key words and develop their letter formation.
