Croeso, i Ddosbarth Irfon. Our class is named after the local Irfon River.

This year, our class is a Reception and Year 1 class.

Mrs Enfys Davies and Miss Emily Thomas are our teaching assistants.

Welcome back to Dosbarth Irfon! I hope you’ve all had a wonderful break over the Christmas holidays. Myself, Miss Bethan Williams, Miss Emily Thomas and Mrs Enfys Davies are exiting to start the new year with a brand new topic – ‘Tedi Bach ar Antur Mawr’ (Tiny Teddies Big Adventure) During the term, we will be looking at the past and present of our local area, mainly focusing on the High Street in Builth Wells, the farmers market , the old / new school and St Mary’s Church. This week we have had a special visitor arrive in class who wants to learn more about our local area. Following his arrival, we went on our Welly Walk to look at what’s available on the High Street in Builth Wells. It has been lovely to be back in class again. Spending time again with my Year 1s and getting to know the Derbyn better. Their enthusiasm for the topic has certainly made me smile.
