Blynyddoedd 5 a 6 – Ffrwd Gymraeg
This term, our science-based topic ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ explores the concept of interdependence, helping learners understand how all living things — including humans — are connected.
We will be exploring ecosystems, learning how plants, animals, and their environments are connected. We will then investigate how animals have adapted to survive in the environments they live in. As the topic develops, we will look at the threats facing different ecosystems, with a particular focus on deforestation and its impact on wildlife and habitats.
Through this learning, children will develop an appreciation for the natural world, recognising how living things rely on one another for survival, while also building a sense of responsibility, belonging, and care for the environment.
Our PE lessons will be every Friday during this term.
