Curriculum
We follow the National Curriculum for Wales 2022.
We plan whole school themes which focus on developing knowledge, understanding and skills in a progressive way throughout the school. We have a keen focus on the progression of literacy, numeracy and digital skills and expect the children to work with increasing levels of independence as they move through the school.
It is very much our intention to provide the children with a rich and varied curriculum at school, supported by further experiences which enrich the learning experience, such as sporting activities and competitions, theatre, drama, dance and music workshops and rich cultural experiences. We also arrange visits to places of interest and provide residential experiences for learners in Years 4, 5 and 6.
